Corn：On 13 August 2014 the average wholesale price of feed corn in main production areas was RMB2, 653 Yuan/T, up 1.18% compared with last week. The drought condition in NC and NE becomes more and more serious, which had a bad influence on new corn development, and some places even had no crop harvests. With the continue increase of corn price, wheat is very possible to replace corn. It predicted that domestic corn will increase slightly. (Figure 1)




DDGS： On 13 August 2014 the average wholesale price of DDGS in main production areas was RMB2, 388 Yuan/T, up 0.53% compared with last week. Corn price increased largely making deep processing enterprises’ cost continue run up. BOABC predicted that domestic DDGS market will keep strong. (Figure 2)
