According to Customer statistic, in the first half year of 2014, Chinese imported 4.1003 million tons aquatic products, and the total value was USD 14.401, up 4.98% and 5.06% respectively, among that the export & import volume are respectively 1.8645 million tons, and 2.2758 million tons, and the former down 0.7% YOY, the latter up 10.14% YOY; the import & export value were respectively 9.815 billion Yuan, and 4.585 billion Yuan, respectively up 2.3% and 11.5% YOY. The trade surplus was $5.23 billion, down 253 million Yuan YOY.

Processing trade export is flat: in the first half year of 2014, the export volume of Chinese processing with customers materials and processing imported materials trade of aquatic products and total export value are 547,200 tons, and USD 2.54 billion respectively, and the former down 0.3% YOY, the latter up 0.6% YOY, accounting for 25.9% of the total aquatic export volume, down 0.4% compared with the same period of last year, among that, the export volume and value of processing imported materials are respectively 427,500 tons and USD 1.886 billion, down 1.71% and 1.04% respectively; the export volume and value of processing with customers materials are respectively 119,800 tons and USD 655 million, up 4.95% and 5.76% YOY respectively.
