Pesticide Sales Turnover Hit 40.47b Yuan In First 7 Months in China

In the first 7 months of 2012, Chinese pesticide sales turnover hit 40.475b Yuan, up 20.2%, aggregate sales turnover of chemical pesticide and bio-pesticide was 34.47b Yuan and 5.99b Yuan, up by 16.6% and 46.6% respectively. The proportion of bio-pesticide was 14.3%, up 1.1% over last year.

The aggregate sales-output ratio of the industry was 98.4% in July, up 0.51% over last year and 2.20% over last month. That of chemical pesticide and bio-pesticide is 98.5% and 97.1%, with the former up by 9.6%. In the first 7 months of 2012, aggregate sales-output ratio was 96.0%, down by 0.91% despite of the hike in late June.
