Driving by Holiday Consumption Pork Price Increase

By CnAgri2012-12-20 11:01:53 Print  On Dec. 19, 2012, in the pork wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of pig carcass was RMB22.24Yuan/KG, up 3.01% compared with last week. For this week, the price of live hog was RMB16.20Yuan/KG, up 1.31% compared with last week. With coming of pork consumption peak season and push by holiday consumption, pork price is likely to increase slightly. (Figure 1)
