Chicken Growing Fast, Price Decreasing Fast

By CnAgri2012-12-27 11:10:29 Print     Broiler：On Dec. 26, 2012, in the major broiler wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh chicken meat is RMB14.40Yuan/KG, down 1.44% compared with last week. The purchasing price from farms of broiler chicken was RMB8.01Yuan/KG this week, down 18.43% compared with last week, the chick price was RMB0.66 each, down71.67% compared with last week. Demand for white feather broiler chicken is influenced by “fast growing chicken” event to decline. Therefore, it is predicted chicken price shall decrease slightly in short periods.
 
    This week the average wholesale price of live broilers is RMB14.81Yuan/KG in main producing regions, up 0.82% compared with last week. Demand for yellow broiler chicken increased recently and the price is predicted to increase slightly. (Figure 4)
