International Urea Price Prone to Slide

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2013-04-26 10:35:46China Agriculture Report Print India has recently decided to purchase 1.49 million MT urea in the international market but Indian IPL only bought 45,000 MT from China recently. India’s urea import price is about $397.9/MT (CIF).

Due to unfavorable weather and soft demand, large-grain urea price has tumbled to $350/MT in the U.S.

Urea price is predicted to go steady in the international market in early May, but is likely to drop afterwards because of sufficient supply and the approach of China’s low-tax export season.
