Textile Industry’s Exports in May

By CnAgri2013-06-24 11:46:13 Print China’s textile product and garment export value registered $9.715 billion and $13.258 billion respectively in May, up 0.66% and 4.96% respectively over the month before, up 5.28% and 5.16% respectively on the year-on-year basis. Adjusting for US dollar appreciation, China’s textile product and garment export value actually increased 5.97% and 5.85% respectively in May over the month before.
 
The textile industry’s export value equaled to RMB142.306 billion in May, up 3.38% on the year-on-year basis, suggesting a slow growth rate, curbing the growth of cotton price.
