Unit Investment Amount for Bio-pesticide up

By CnAgri2013-08-13 11:18:36 Print In the first 5 months of 2013, industry investment hit 13.07bYuan, up 18.0%, including 8.53b Yuan in chemical pesticide industry, up 29.8%, and 4.53b Yuan in bio-pesticide industry, up 0.8, the first year-by-year increase in 2013. In the first 5 months of 2013, the proportion of bio-pesticide investment was 34.7%, although a bit higher compared with the first 4 months, it is about 6% lower than last year.
 
Average investment amount per project was 43.85m Yuan, up 17.6%. it was 42.25m Yuan in chemical pesticide, up 16.3% over last year and 47.22m Yuan in bio-pesticide, up 21.8% over last year. Unit investment amount of bio-pesticide increased fast compared with the first 4 months, and it has overtaken the chemical pesticide projects.
 
So far as the end of May, there were 298 projects under construction, almost unchanged, including 156 newly started projects, up 10.6%, 73 has just finished construction, down 7.6% over last year. For bio-pesticide, the number of projects which are under construction and newly completed all saw a substantial decline, while was in line with the increase of unit investment amount.
