Egg Price to Go Up with High Temperature

By CnAgri2013-08-13 11:21:48 Print Egg: On August 7th, 2013, at the major egg wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh eggs is RMB8.25Yuan/KG, up 0.49% compared with last week. Price for eggs from farmers is RMB7.53Yuan/KG this week. High temperature caused decrease of egg supply in SC this week. Inter regional egg transportation increased, which raised egg price. But demand remains steady. It is predicted price for egg shall keep steady with slight increase in short terms. (Figure 9)
