China Will Make 5 New National Standards on Food Safety

On August 1, the National Health and Family Planning Commission issued a draft for soliciting public opinions on the Cleaning-up Suggestions of Special Dietary Food Standards, which points out that, in accordance with foreign food toxicology evaluation procedures and China's food safety work demand, it suggests formulating five new national food safety standards, namely In Vitro Mammalian Cell Chromosome Aberration Test, 28-day Mouth Feeding Test, Chronic Toxicity Test, Carcinogenic Test and Reproductive Development Toxicity Test.From "China Food Additives Market Monthly Report"
