Peanut Production in Henan
By CnAgri2013-10-11 11:08:08 PrintHenan’s planted peanut acreage and peanut production increased from 975,000 hectares and 4.126 million MT in 2009 to 1.188 million hectares and 4.82 million MT in 2012 respectively
The cost of peanut production went up from RMB8,802/hectare in the province in 2009 to RMB16,020/hectare in 2012.
Peanut production generated a net profit of RMB9,478/hectare in 2009, RMB6,820/hectare in 2010, RMB15,039/hectare in 2011 and RMB13,052/MT in 2012. The ratio of net profit against cost was 82% for peanut production in 2012.
