Fertilizer Export Price Dropped in Aug.

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2013-10-11 11:19:35China Agriculture Report Print Due to dull domestic market, urea producers and traders are keen on exports this year. Thanks to the low export tax season during July ~ Oct., urea exports hit 2.76 million MT in July ~ Aug., 67.8% of the total exports during Jan. ~ Aug. Unfortunately, urea export price tumbled 21% in Aug. on the year-on-year basis to a level of $307/MT.
 
DAP export volume and price registered 768,000 MT and $459.6/MT in Aug., up 45.3% but down 5.53% respectively against the month before.
 
MAP export volume and price recorded 151,000 MT and $385.2/MT in Aug., up 58.6% but down 3.4% respectively against the month before, up 124.2% but down 19.9% respectively on the year-on-year basis.
