First, generation information of slaughterhouses, including the number of slaughterhouses, their productive capacity, their operation, their mechanization level, their qualifications, their pollution disposal, etc.

Second, the qualifications and performance of slaughterhouses’ management staff, facility operating technicians, meat quality testing staff, quarantine staff, vets, etc.

Third, local governments’ regulations, administrative organizations and law-enforcement personnel.

Fourth, the crackdown of illegal slaughter cases in 2012, including the number of cases, people involved, value involved, etc.

BOABC’s recent survey shows that during the transfer of slaughter administration from the Ministry of Commerce to the Ministry of Agriculture, loose control invigorated illegal slaughter in some regions.
