Chinese Asparagus Plays an Key Role in World Trade

In 70s to 80s of last century, asparagus came to China and has been wildly planted. Since 2007, due to saturated foreign markets, financial crisis and trade barriers, export sale of asparagus declined sharply and many enterprise stopped production. To turn the bed situation, China’s asparagus industry begins to transform. At present, through market exploration, own brands building, and sale channel strengthening, Chinese asparagus industry realizes optimization of product structure and market, reducing industry risks, and becomes less depending on foreign market.
