Pesticide import increase largely in October

In the first 9 months, total pesticide import hit 47,898 tons, up 12%, including insecticide 8,551 tons, fungicide 20,858 tons and herbicide 18,489 tons.
In Sepetmber, Chinese crude pesticide export hit 72,958 tons, up 5% over last year and down 3% over last month, including insecticide 12,719 tons, down13%, fungicide 5,299 tons, down 10% and herbicide 54,940 tons, up 12%. In the first 9 months of 2013, pesticide export was 789,000 tons, up 24%, including insecticide 136,326 tons, fungicide 54,487 tons and herbicide 598,781 tons.
In September, pesticide export price continued to hike, the FOB price of wholesaled insecticide, fungicide and herbicide was 4,780dollars, 4,722dollars and 3,292dollars, up 10%, 15% and 23% respectively.
