Potassium Polymetaphosphate Approved As A Food Additive
By CnAgri2013-11-12 14:02:01 PrintThe Ministry of Health has recently issued a notice, notifying that potassium polymetaphosphate has been approved to be used as a kind of food additive. The product functions as a water preservative substance, swelling agent, acidity regulator, stabilizer, coagulator, anti-caking agent, etc. It is derived by means of dehydration and polymerization with food-grade monopotassium phosphate as raw material. Its dosage and scope of application must be in line with the State Criteria of the Use of Food Additive.
