China Pesticide export continued to go up in Oct. 2013

In October, Chinese crude pesticide import was 2,694 tons, up 46.1% over last year and down 46.6% over last month. In the first 10 months, total pesticide import hit 50,592 tons, up 13%, including insecticide 8,948 tons, fungicide 22,471 tons and herbicide 19,173 tons.

In October, Chinese crude pesticide export hit 65,213 tons, up 15% over last year and down 10.6% over last month, including insecticide 11,284 tons, down 21.9%, fungicide 5,775 tons, down 12% and herbicide 48,154 tons, up 19%. In the first 10 months of 2013, pesticide export was 855,000 tons, up 23.2%, including insecticide 147,609 tons, fungicide 60,262 tons and herbicide 646,935 tons.

In October, the FOB price of wholesaled insecticide, fungicide and herbicide was 4,921 dollars, 4,818 dollars and 3,369 dollars, up 2.9%, 2% and 2.4% respectively.
