MOP Price Likely to Decline Further More
By CnAgri2014-03-18 13:50:47 PrintMOP: domestic MOP market remained stable this week. Producers resumed production gradually, but arrivals were few due to poor freight condition. The political situation in Russia and Ukraine has no great influences on domestic potash market. Freight costs brought up potash fertilizer price. Both Luobupo potash and Qinghai Salt Lake raised quotation, but according to actual sales condition, turnover price saw only limited increase. Domestic MOP market kept tepid after Spring Festival and shall continue consolidation with slow start of raw material demand from NPK production with operating rate of 60%-70%. In view big contract price is lower than market price, port potash fertilizer is likely to further decline. In short terms, potash fertilizer shall keep stable with few turnovers. (Figure 4)
