Aminoacid Price Edged Down in Recent

Aminoacid: On Mar. 26th 2014, the average wholesale price of domestically-produced lysine 98.5% and lysine 70% are RMB7230Yuan/MT and RMB4600Yuan/MT respectively, down 3.34% and unchanged respectively compared with last week. Domestic lysine manufacturers declined price for lysine 98.5% and lysine 70% by RMB6.5/Kg and RMB4.4/Kg. Domestic lysine market is predicted to remain weak and price is adjustable. (Table 7)

On Mar. 26th 2014, average wholesale price of domestic solid methionine and liquid methionine are RMB27400Yuan/MT and RMB22000Yuan/MT respectively, down 4.13% and 2.22% respectively compared with last week. According to customs statistics, China imported methionine 10685.03 MT in Feb. 2014, down 32.27% year on year and import price was USD3039/MT. With surplus supply and weak demand, methionine price was weighed on. It is predicted domestic methionine market shall keep weak and price may edge down in some areas. (Table 8)
