By CnAgri2015-11-09 15:15:28 PrintBy October 22, the US had sold 13.86 million tons of soybeans to China in 2015/16, down 32.7% year on year, of which the shipment quantity was 5.9264 million tons, higher than 5.1083 million tons from the same period last year; the soybean quantity had not been shipped was 7.9333 million tons, lower than 15.4816 million tons in the same period last year. This year China may purchase 27 million tons of soybeans from the US, down 8.8% from 29.6 million tons in the same period last year.
By October 25, the soybean harvest of the 18 major states had completed 87%, which completed 10% more from last week. It was 68% in the same period last year. The average harvest progress is 80% in the same period of the past five years.
