Monsanto India posts net profit of Rs 1.54 cr in Q4


It had posted the net loss of Rs 7.61 crore in the same quarter of the 2011-12 fiscal, the company said.
Total income rose to Rs 69 crore in the quarter as against Rs 36.34 crore in the year ago period.
Net sales jumped 93.1% to Rs 69.04 crore compared with the same period of 2012.
Monsanto India, a 72.14% subsidiary of the Monsanto Company, US, focuses on maize seed and agrochemical.
