Food consumption: synthesizing rice, flour and corn output and consumption, grain ration consumption was 27.16 million tons in June, up 2.05% year on year; among that, rural household consumption and urban household consumption respectively was 9.202 million tons and 7.534 million tons, the former up 1.05% year on year and the latter up 4.14% year on year; outside consumption of resident was 10.423 million tons, up 2.88% year on year.

Feed Consumption: the National Bureau of Statistics announced that the breeding stock of pork in June and July was respectively 443.91 million heads and 445.24 million heads, and respectively down 1.90% and 2.77% compared with last year; the large scale slaughter enterprises’ slaughter volume was respectively 18.7456 million heads and 18.2470 heads, down 1.61% and 2.67% respectively.

Synthesizing meat production, hog inventory and scale enterprises’ anticipation on feed production, feed consumption is predicted to be 21.797 million tons in June, down 1.56% year on year; deducting import soybean and other oil meal consumption, actual feed consumption was 15.784 million tons, down 1.46% year on year.
