Pesticide Sales Turnover Hit 34.25b Yuan In First 2Q Of 2012 in China

In the first 6 months of 2012, Chinese pesticide sales turnover hit 34.25b Yuan, up 20.0%, aggregate sales turnover of chemical pesticide and bio-pesticide was 29.29b Yuan and 4.97b Yuan, up by 16.2% and 47.7% respectively. The proportion of bio-pesticide was 14.5%, up 2.7% over last year.

The aggregate sales-output ratio of the industry was 96.2% in June, down 2.20% over May and also down 2.20% over last year. That of chemical pesticide and bio-pesticide is 96.6% and 94.0%, down 2.13% and 1.87% over last year. In the first 6 months of 2012, aggregate sales-output ratio was 95.3%, down by1.35%.
