“Hormone Chicken” Event Worsens Vitamin Market Situation

Vitamin：On Dec. 26, 2012, the average wholesale price of Vitamin A at major production areas is RMB114,200Yuan/MT, down 0.26% compared with last week. With less favorable support and occurance of “fast growing chicken” and “hormone chicken” event, chicken market price is suppressed, which furthermore decreases vitamin demand. Domestic Vitamin A market is predicted to keep continuous weak. (Table 14)On Dec. 26, 2012, the average wholesale price of Vitamin E at major production areas is RMB95,900Yuan/MT, down 0.83% compared with last week. Domestic supply was full of press and demand in downstream was no imrovement. Vitamin E price is likely to continue decreasing. (Table 15)
