World Pork Production in 2012 Up

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2013-01-10 10:19:16China Agriculture Report Print World pork production went up in 2012, mainly accredited to the production growth in East Asia. Hog production increased in China and hog diseases were not serious. US pork production paralleled the previous year. Brazilian pork production was stimulated by expansion of exports. BOABC estimates that world pork production might be 106 million MT in 2012, a growth of 2.76% over the previous year.
