Shelled Peanut Exports Decreased

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2013-02-21 11:02:17China Agriculture Report Print China’s shelled peanut exports were 103,313 MT in 2012, a slip of 11% on the year-on-year basis. Shelled peanut export price hit $2,242/MT (FOB) in May, the top level in three years. Shelled peanut export price tumbled to $1,793/MT in October but picked up to $1,920/MT in December.
 
In view of swelling peanut consumption at home, peanut exports are presumed to keep shrinking this year.
