Chinese Pesticide Sales Turnover over 60b Yuan

By CnAgri2013-03-07 10:45:19 Print In 2012, Chinese pesticide sales turnover hit 60.3b Yuan, up 10.1%, including chemical pesticide 50.1b and bio-pesticide 10.3b Yuan, up 6.3% and 33.9% respectively. The proportion of bio-pesticide was 17.0%, up 3.0% over last year.
 
As regard to the major provinces, total sales volume of Jiangsu added up to 22.9b Yuan, accounting for 38.0% of total, up 1.6% over last year, followed by Shandong, Zhejiang, Hubei and Sichuan, accounting for 16.0%, 7.2%, 5.4% and 5.1% respectively, the top 5 provinces accounted for 71.8% of the whole.
 
Sales-output ration of the industry was 96.9%, down 0.92%, that of chemical pesticide and bio-pesticide was 96.8% and 97.3% respectively, both were a bit lower than last year.
