Pesticide Material Price Remained Weak

Most organic and inorganic materials were pretty weak, very few materials, like sulfur, rebound slightly due to strong overseas market.
 
Yellow phosphorous was steady, most enterprises has resumed production after the Spring Festival, however, most enterprises in Yunnan, the largest producer, has not resumed operation yet, so the sales was rather ordinary. The average price was 16,500 Yuan per ton, almost the same as last month, and down 2.3% over last year.
 
Since demand from the lower reach restored slowly, and market sales remained weak, plus the oil and commodities plunge in int'l market, methanol price saw a downwards adjustment. Its price averaged at 2,585 Yuan, down 2.1% over last month. For the same reason, most benzene derivatives went downwards, including pure benzene averaged at 10,230 Yuan, down 2.2% over January.
 
Sulfur price hiked slightly because of the increase of FOB price, its average price was 1,354 Yuan, up 2.0%. However, with the release of domestic capacity, sulfur price is likely to go downwards later on.
