Danone’s Infant Nutrition Business Sets Record High

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2013-03-15 10:50:37China Agriculture Report Print     The 2012 annual financial statement released by Danone recently shows that Danone’s infant and baby nutrition business harvested total global sale revenues of 4.257 billion euros in 2012, a year-on-year increase of 11.6%, and the sales rose by 5.2% year on year.

    The financial statement also announced the results for the fourth quarter of 2012, Danone’s infant nutrition business showed a strong growth trend in various regions in the world, and the sales increases by 12.1% year-on-year. Such good performance is attributed to changes in product mix under Danone infant nutrition business. Danone’s infant nutrition business division has made eye-catching performance, especially flagship brand Dumex has successfully launched “Youjie” products which are popular in the Chinese market.
