Beef anf Mutton Price to go Further High on May Day

By CnAgri2013-04-26 11:00:28 Print Beef: On April 24th, 2013, in the beef wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh boning-out leg meat is RMB51.49Yuan/KG, up 0.02% from last week.  Domestic beef and mutton market is stable recently with less fluctuation. With coming of May Day, consumption of beef and mutton is expected to increase slightly and the beef price is predicted to go up slightly. (Figure 4)




Mutton: On April 24th, 2013, the mutton wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of bone-in fresh mutton is RMB52.75Yuan/KG, down 0.26% compared with last week. Domestic mutton price stay around RMB53/kg after Spring Festival with no favorable factors. With coming of May Day, mutton consumption is expected to increase and the price shall go up with fluctuation.  (Figure 5)
