Sugar Data on Production and Sales till End of March

By CnAgri2013-05-06 11:07:15 Print Guangxi: 46 sugar plants had winded up crushing till 31^st March 2013. 63.15 million tons canes had been crushed, 7.6 million tons more year on year or up 13.7%; production of mixed sugar 7.369 million tons, 712,000 tons or 10.7% higher year on year; sugar yield 11.67%, down 0.31 percentage point year on year; 3.712 million tons sugar sold, 923,000 tons or 33% more year on year; production and sales ratio  50.4%, up 8.5 percentage points year on year; selling price including tax for white granulated sugar 5627 yuan/ton, down 989 yuan/ton year on year.  
 
Yunnan: 13.4626 million tons canes had been crushed till 31^st March, sugar production 1.6812 million tons (1.6007 million tons in same period last year), sugar yield 12.49% (12.25% in same period last year), sales amount 598,800 tons (456,000 tons in same period last year) and sales ratio 35.62% (28.49% in same period last year). Eight plants had winded up crushing till 31^st March.
 
Guangdong: till 31^st March 12.3103 million tons canes had been crushed, sugar production 1.1783 million tons, 75,300 tons more year on year; sales amount 927,600 tons, up 224,000 tons year on year; stock 250,700 tons, down 149,300 tons year on year; sales ratio 78.72%, up 15.02 percentage points year on year. Of which Zhenjiang crushed 10.7964 million tons canes, produced 1.0262 million tons sugar, sold 817,400 tons and the stock was 208,800 tons. The monthly sales in March was 207,600 tons in the province, up 58,300 tons year on year.
 
Hainan: till 31^st March in 2012/13, 3.8778 million tons canes had been crushed, 1.226 million tons more than the 2.6518 million tons in same period of the last campaign; sugar production 442,400 tons, 131,500 tons more than the 310,900 tons in same period of last campaign; mixed sugar yield 11.41%, down 0.31% year on year; first grade rate 78.64%, down 7.35% year on year; sugar sold 181,200 tons, 38,900 tons year on year; sales ratio 40.96%, down 4.81% year on year; stock 261,200 tons, 92,600 tons more year on year. Till 31^st March, six plants, i.e., Anding Chagen, Haikou Fuhui, Haikou Jiazi, Haikou Yebao, Lingao Honghua and Changjiang Haihong, had winded up crushing. Whereas the province had come to the end of the campaign by 14^th March 2012.
 
Xinjiang: all the 14 plants have winded up crushing so far. 4.9018 million tons beets had been crushed till the end of march in 2012/13, sugar production 547,900 tons, up 76,300 tons year on year; sales amount 287,600 tons, 12,000 tons less year on year; sales ratio 52.49%, down 11.03 percentage points year on year; industrial stock 260,300 tons, up 88,300 tons year on year. Of which the monthly production in March was 5,700 tons and sales 73,700 tons.
