Xinjiang Decided Beet Procurement Price in 2013/14
By CnAgri2013-05-29 12:06:04 Print In order to further optimize the beet procurement price policy and to stabilize beet growing and sugar production in Xinjiang, Xinjiang Development and Reform Commission promulgated relevant policies and procurement price for beets in 2013/14.a. The price for beets in 2013/2014 is changed from field price to factory doorstep price. The price is 440 yuan/ton in Yili (2013/2014).
b. The price is still in compliance with Xin Fa Gai Agri Price [2012] No. 624 Document, there is linkage with grain price, second payment, and the linkage price coefficient is 5.7% based on the principle of favoring beet growers.
c. There is better price for better variety for the sake of extending elite breeds and gradual expansion of the acreage of elite breeds, 20 yuan extra more for each ton of elite-breed beets.
d. The Autonomous Region shall implement the linkage mechanism timely based on the change of grain price. The “Interim Methods for Second Price Settlement for Beets/grain in Xinjiang” is exercised.
