Rapeseed Meal Price To Go Down with Growing Supply

By CnAgri2013-05-29 11:59:53 Print Rapeseed meal：On May 22nd, 2013, the average wholesale price of rapeseed meal is RMB2,782Yuan/MT, down 0.68% compared with last week. 2013 purchasing policy of rapeseed by State Material Reserve has been set: purchase price in new season is RMB2.55/jin, up RMB0.05/jin from last year and purchase quantity is set to be 5 million MT, which was 4.5 million MT last year with completion of 4.3 million MT. It is inevitable domestic supply of rapeseed meal will increase later and the price will also go down. But Canadian rapeseed meal is predicted to perform better than domestic one. (Table 6)
