Bearish Sulfur Price
By CnAgri2013-07-30 11:17:34 Print Sulfur price has recently slumped 40% in the international market, tumbling to $75/MT or so in early July. Domestic sulfur price followed suit. Causes behind the sulfur price slump were dull fertilizer sales and excessive sulfur supply.Due to weak demand, ammonium phosphate producers in the Southwest are running at 50% of their capacity currently. It is presumed that sulfur price may slide further in the short run.
