US EPA cancels Dow AgroSciences' insecticide chlorpyrifos registrations
By CnAgri Print US EPA has issued a cancellation order for insecticide chlorpyrifos registrations and termination of all uses after receiving the request of Dow AgroSciences to voluntarily cancel insecticide chlorpyrifos product registrations, pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The cancellation was effective on July 3, 2013.The distribution, sale or use of existing stocks will not be lawful under FIFRA with the date of this cancellation order except for the purpose of returns and relabeling, shipping such stocks for export consistent with the requirements of section 17 of FIFRA, or for proper disposal.
