Pesticide Production in June
By CnAgri2013-08-14 11:07:08 Print In June, there are 337 major pesticide enterprises in the market, and total output hit 304,000 tons, up 9.7%. Insecticide, fungicide and herbicide were 73,000 tons, 18,500 tons and 161,000 tons, up 2.2%, 22.9% and 18.6% over last year respectively. Insecticide and fungicide both saw a substantial rebound, while herbicide went down by 5.3% over May.In the first 6 months of 2013, total output hit 1.765m tons, down 2.4%. Production of the three varieties is totally different from each other. Herbicide output was 897,000 tons, up 11.8%, insecticide output was 371,000 tons, down by 7.4%, and fungicide was 78,000 tons, almost unchanged.
In the first 6 months, the proportion of herbicide went up to 52.1% from 46.6%, insecticide went down to 21.5% from 23.2%, while fungicide remains at 4.5%.
Besides, the output of growth regulator, bio-pesticide added up to 419,000 tons, down 5.4%, accounting for 23.7% of total output, down 2.0% over last year.
