Fertilizer Exporters Facing Severe Competition
By CnAgri2013-08-16 14:07:52 Print Due to swelling fertilizer productive capacity in the world, Chinese fertilizer producers face a fierce competition in the international market.World urea demand and supply are predicted to be 165 million MT and 178 million MT respectively this year, suggesting a 7% surplus. Saudi Arabia and Morocco have expanded their phosphorus capacity this year. Saudi Arabia is estimated to increase phosphorus supply by 700,000 MT ~ 1.2 million MT this year, the bulk of which is intended for India, subduing China’s exports to India.
