Taiji Group Enters Cool Tea Sector by Purchasing Producer with 10 Times Premium

It announced on the evening of the 16th that it would buy 100% shares in Chongqing Ayida Soft Drinks Co., Ltd., for producing Taiji cool tea, its innovative product, and for development of healthy products.
According to the announcement, Ayida was set up in May 2010, the registered capital is 10 million yuan and the actual collected capital is 2 million yuan. The assets are owned by three natural persons and the business covers production and selling of soft drinks, and growing of Chinese medical herbs. Based on an evaluation, the total assets of Ayida is 7.0590 million yuan, net profit 1.3284 million yuan. The total price for the purchase is 13.5 million yuan.
It was learnt there is experimental production at present and products shall be put on market by the end of the year. The company plans to see annual production and sales at 100 million bottles (cans) in the beginning, sales revenue 300-500 million yuan and the sales scale shall hit 2-5 billion yuan in five years.
