Prices of Scallion, Ginger and Garlic Grew in September

Compared to prices of August 1, on September 25, prices of ginger, scallion and garlic grew by 18.7, 8.8% and 7.8% respectively. When it comes regions, prices of ginger, scallion and garlic in provinces of Jiangxi, Sichuang and Henan experienced sharp growth, by 45.4%, 34.2% and 31.3% respectively; price of scallion in 70% cities increased, especially in Anhui Province, Tianjin and Henan Province, by 33.3%, 26.5% and 25.6%; Garlic price in 70% cities grew, among which prices in Henan, Gansu and Heilongjiang grew the most, by 46.1%, 35% and 24.4% respectively.From “China Fruit &Vegetable Market Monthly Report”
