Glyphosate Price to Be Steady
By CnAgri2013-10-22 11:48:10 Print Glyphosate price was rather steady in September, with the demand declines, market supply was not as short as before. Crude pesticide deal went up slightly, however market price was not high enough, mainstream price was 42,500-43,500 yuan per ton, the high-end products price went down slightly to 44,000-45,000 Yuan per ton.So far, subject to environment-protection effect, operation rate of glyphosate industry remained at 60%, most plants neither quotes nor accepts new orders, and there is thick wait-and-see attitude on the market, spot trading was limited. Average daily-output of mainstream enterprises was about 150 to 250 tons, while small and medium sized enterprises was about 30 to 50 tons per day.
Its major material, glycine, rebounds temporarily, and its average price was 12,800-13,000 Yuan per ton, yellow phosphorous and paraformaldehyde remained steady. Since the booming season of glyphosate was coming to an end, concern spreads in the lower reach purchasing market, lower reach purchasers become very cautious in purchasing.
If glyphosate price remains at a high position in the long run, it will promotes operation rate in the industry, the operation of new facilities and thus trigger a new round of price competition.
