Corn Price Slumps in NE

By CnAgri2013-11-07 11:27:38 Print Corn：On Nov. 6th, 2013, the average wholesale price of feed corn in main production areas is RMB2,351Yuan/MT, down 0.08% compared with last week. Temperature reduction was good for corn drying and threshing and with large amounts of corn list in Heilongjiang, the listed price in deep processing enterprises declined significantly. In NC areas, however, rainfall caused corn procurement to decline and price rose in some areas. Rumors says that protective procurement policy is around the corner, but its support to grain price in NE is doubtful. Based on current corn supply and demand, we predict that corn price shall remain weak in short terms. (Table 1)
