Supply Increase Weighed on Rapeseed Meal Price

By CnAgri2013-12-30 09:36:10 Print Rapeseed meal：On Dec. 25th, 2013, the average wholesale price of rapeseed meal is RMB2862Yuan/MT, down 1.14% from last week. According to customs statistics, China rapeseed imports registered 551,900MT in Nov. 2013 and 6.1562 million MT in Jan.-Nov. 2013, up 26.4% and 16.4% respectively on year-on-year basis. With high profit margin of processing imported rapeseed, the imports shall keep high in later period. Operating rate of crushing enterprises shall remain high as well. Thus, rapeseed meal supply will be adequate though in slack season for aquatic breeding, proportion of rapeseed meal replacing other protein meals increased. Thus, BOABC predicts rapeseed meal market shall keep weak and price is likely to be pressed down.  (Table 5)
