1,000 Tons Vegetable Juice Project in Lhasa Put into Operation in November
By CnAgri2013-12-30 09:52:59 PrintIn order to fully utilize the vegetable resource and raise the added value of vegetables, Gangdelin Vegetable Growers’ Cooperative applied to Lhasa Agricultural Development Office for the 1,000 tons vegetable juice processing project in 2012. The project was approved and was put into operation in November.
The total investment is 2.6 million yuan, of which 1.3 million yuan from the Government and 1.3 million yuan was raised by the company. So far all the money has been in place. Products are tomato juice, carrot juice and celery juice. The production technique is aseptic filling technology. The annual production would be 2.5 million cans or 1000 tons, the yearly profit should be 9 million yuan.
