Supporting Policy for Poultry Industry Carried out in All Areas

Guangdong: Guangdong will arrange over 100 million yuan as subsidies for maintaining production of poultry farms, new enterprises handling poultry products reserves and loan interest of poultry breeding enterprises.

Ningbo: to encourage leading agricultural enterprises, cooperative organizations and other social forces to purchase, process and refrigerate ground live poultry and eggs by putting in 500 million yuan.  For purchasing enterprises recognized by county governments which purchase ground live poultry and eggs with price no less than minimum purchasing price will be granted subsidies of RMB2000/MT for live poultry and RMB1000/MT for eggs and the subsidy will last for one month temporarily. For enterprises refrigerating ground poultry products, subsidy of RMB200/MT will be additionally granted from Feb. 1st 2014 to July 31st 2014. For breeding poultry in grandparent breding poultry farms recognized by provincial and municipal governments and core breeds in municipal poultry breeding platforms, a one-time subsidy of RMB50 for each will be granted.
