China Exported 15,025MT Shelled Peanut in Jan. 2014

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2014-03-20 09:50:38China Agriculture Report Print In Jan. 2014, China exported 15,025MT shelled peanut, up 0.2% month on month and up 8.6% year on year. The FOB price was USD1536/MT, up 1.6% month on month and down 22.4% year on year.
   
   In terms of export by country, China mainly exported shelled peanut to Japan, Iran, Netherlands, Canada, Lebanon and Thailand, accounting for 18%, 11%, 10%, 7%, 6% and 5% respectively.
   
   In terms of export provinces, Shandong had absolute strength with export quantity of 1,598MT, accounting for 77% of total export quantity; Liaoning and Jilin followed with proportion of 11% and 6% respectively.
   
   In terms of export enterprises, 116 enterprises handled export of shelled peanut in Jan. 2014 and export quantity of top 10 enterprises accounted for 43% of total export quantity. The top three enterprises were Shandong Jindian Nut Foodstuff Co., Ltd., Qingdao Shengde Food Co., Ltd. and Shandong COFCO Peanut Product Imp&Exp Co., Ltd.
