Based on BOABC’s monitoring, in June winter wheat in Northern Hemisphere began harvesting, and global comprehensive spot grain index bounced back, ending 14 months declining on month- on – month basis, but year – on – year basis continuing falling down.
 
In June comprehensive spot grain index was $307/ton, up by 0.4% MOM, and down by 10.3% YOY. Moreover comprehensive future grain index was $ 177/ton, up by 3.6% MOM, down by 20.8% YOY. The average grain price in May 2014 – April 2015 was $ 198 /ton, down by 19.64% YOY.
 
From different varieties spot, in June the average wheat price was $ 267/ton, up by 0.77% MOM, down by 12.06% YOY. As for corn in June, the price is $ 229 / ton, up by 1.22% MOM, down by 14.33% YOY. Since August 2014/15 the average corn price is $ 237 /ton, down by 12.82% YOY. 
In June the average price is $ 505/ton, down by 0.54% MOM, and down by 5.24% YOY. As for barely, the monthly price is $ 224/ton, down by 0.84% MOM, and down by 11.61% YOY.
 
The monthly price of sorghum and soybean are $ 216/ton and $ 666/ton, the former down by 0.91% MOM, and down by 7.73% YOY. The latter up by 1.49% MOM, and down by 8.51% YOY.
