From January to November, vegetable oil imports accumulative to 6 million tons, slightly up 1% from the same period of last year.Cofco and Yueyang City government signed an investment framework agreement concerning Chenglingji industrial park project - the construction of comprehensive logistics park and grain and oil processing zone, covering an area of 1,080 mu in the new port area of Chenglingji, Hunan, with an investment RMB 5.5 billion. The construction includes a logistics distribution center, a food import and export center, a processing center and a trade center. After it goes into production, the processing capacity of grain & oil and feed is expected to increase by 2 million tons.
