China approved 18 pesticide registrations in June 2013

China Agriculture Report By CnAgriChina Agriculture Report Print The Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) has approved the registrations of 18 pesticide active ingredients in June, 2013 (excluding the renewal of registration), covering 7 insecticides , 5 fungicides, 4 herbicides, 1 molluscicide and 1 plant growth regulator (PGR).


In terms of registration type, there are 16 formal registrations (5-year validity), 2 of them only for export, the remain 2 belong to interim registration (1-year validity).

Furthermore, Syngenta received the registration approval for fungicide fenpropidin (96%TC), which was registered in China for the first time. In addition, Chinese Hubei Jinhaichao Science and Technology obtained the registration of TDS 50%TK, becoming the first and the only one company owning formal registration of TDS.
