l According to the survey on 382 farmers in 57 counties in four northeastern provinces (regions), the intentional planting area of corn is 12.4 thousand hectares, and the planting area per household is 32.5 hectares, decreasing 20% year on year. The decrease mainly is caused by increasing planting area of high protein soybean, and scale farmers are more willing to adjust planting structure.
