Cow Inventory in Inner Mongolia

By CnAgri2013-01-07 11:31:23 Print     Currently there are 6600 dairy cattle in Daming Town, Ningcheng County. The town has set up 3 dairy farms, is building up another two and plans for another one. The town can rear 8000 dairy cattle.

    Eerguna used (distributed) 35,000 straws of subsidized elite-breed frozen semen and 4500 liters of liquid nitrogen by the end of 2012. The conception rate during the oestrus and the overall conception rate is over 93%.

    Helin County set up 10 scaled farms in 2012 and 70% of the dairy cattle are reared on scaled farms, the current inventory is 150,000. Currently there are 82 established scaled farms, of which 4 of 10,000 inventory; 20 of 1,000 inventory and 58 of 100 inventory. The county shall set up another farm of 10,000 inventory and 9 medium/small ones in 2013, and 70% of the cattle shall be in scaled farms. 

    Huhehaote planned to set up 11 scaled farms of over 1000 inventory in 2012, of which 6 of 10,000 inventory and 5 of 1,000 inventory, the net increase of dairy cattle should be 77,000 and the total budget is 2.3 billion yuan. so far the city is either building up or going through certain formalities for 18 farms, the designed net increase of dairy cattle is 125,000, so far 15 saw kicking off of construction and 10 out of these have been basically set up, and 14,460 dairy cattle have been bought. The 15 farms, which are being built, shall see establishment basically before the end of the year, and the new increase of dairy cattle should be around 80,000.
